Happy Labs Logo @ 99 Designs

I'm a very visual person when it comes to most things, although I will always shy away from building the UI for anything first.  I paid I think £229 + a couple of promotional options to get a few more designs in, I always waved my right to a refund so pretty much went all in on the 99-designs concept.

99 Designs if you have never heard of them operate a contest concept, this means when you submit a brief you you will begin to receive logo concept submissions, depending on the options you paid for (you can shorten the contest length), the default length of a contest is 5 days I think.

After the initial concept phase you're asked to shortlist the designers you what to progress to the next round to help refine their designs.

You can then provide feedback, tweaks, use of different colors for example, finally you can pick a design as a winner and progress to the finally requirements stage, any final requests can be added before the files are delivered.

All in all it's been a great experience using the site to get something simple off the ground, I could be a lot more lean in this concept but everything I do is built with love, I know how to get the best out of my self and I'm usually all in when it comes to my ideas.
